The disease is an inflammatory progressive peripheral neuropathy that causes progressive weakness and numbness in the upper and lower limbs particularly in the hands and feet.
Having used up all available resources I was able to reach out to Athos Health and get in touch with an Athos Advocate, Jon. Jon was a God send; he was able to achieve results right away.
“After Met Life denied the claim for long term disability due to forms not being improperly completed by the providers, they kept going back and forth requesting more and more from my doctors and myself.” Through Athos’ online portal Jon was able to stay in contact with me and consistently contacted Met Life to work out the details.
“Athos was able to get the ball over the finish line but was so decisive that my long-term disability was approved in 10 calendar days. Jon became involved at week 20 and was able to get the matter fixed within 4 weeks.”
“Without Athos I could have gone weeks more without pay, and I am so grateful I was able to receive help to resolve my issue.” Athos is here to advocate for your employees to ensure they receive the benefits they deserve.
